WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO WANT TO BECOME A
MISSOURI FFA OFFICER?
I was always so inspired by past state and national FFA officers that I wanted to serve as an officer just as they had. My Ag advisors were also big part of why I wanted to become a state officer as they always pushed me to go above and beyond and push past my boundaries.
WHO IS YOUR HERO AND WHY?
My mom is my biggest hero. She raised me as a single parent and has encouraged me to follow my dreams. She always told me I could do whatever I wanted; I just had to work hard to get there.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?
I plan to attend the University of Missouri and major in biochemistry and athletic training. In the future I would love to be an athletic trainer for a division 1 college football team, and then possibly go on to medical school.
WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE OR INTERESTING THAT FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I am trained in opera and classical music.
ADVICE TO FFA MEMBERS:
You can do whatever you set your mind to if you put in a lot of hard work and dedication. Don’t ever feel like you’re not good enough or not qualified enough. It’s not about getting first in every CDE or speaking event. It’s about your drive and your passion for this great organization that can take you far.
